Luckyboy was introduced to ATVANCE ACADEMY by a community member, and has been facilitating the Occupational Health and Safety course at the Winburg campus for a number of years. ATVANCE ACADEMY brought a huge difference to the community, he says, even though some people were skeptical about it.
“The initiative opened a platform for those who couldn’t go to tertiary institutes, providing an opportunity to study for free. Interacting with the youth of my campus broadened my ability to work with different types of people. As Nelson Mandela said, the power of education extends beyond the development of skills we need for economic success.”
Atvance Academy is Services SETA and MICT SETA accredited.
