Keletso Leswetsa

When Keletso Leswetsa left school, he believed that further education was out of his reach. When he found out about ATVANCE ACADEMY’s free training programmes, he immediately jumped at the chance to upskill himself.

He chose to study Occupational Health, Safety and Environment, working diligently to achieve the best possible results. Graduating in 2019, he says it was a privilege to be a part of ATVANCE ACADEMY.

“The irony of the matter is that we receive valuable education at no cost. One of the most important parts is that the courses are not limited to classes only, but we also made visits to big companies like Sedibeng Water to see how the information we learn in class is applied in real life,” he says. “I can vouch for ATVANCE ACADEMY as I am a testimony of its success.”

Keletso is now working in the mining industry as an intern in a biochemistries department. “I might not have much experience currently, but I can do most of the tasks without having my superiors looking over my shoulder as I already have information and knowledge of application regarding to most of the work-related tasks. I will forever be grateful to ATVANCE ACADEMY for allowing me and the youth of South Africa to grow, equip and build us to be work ready,” he concludes.
