I’m an Environmental Assessment Practitioner intern at the City of Ekurhuleni. Having studied Environmental Practice at ATVANCE ACADEMY, Ndivhuwo says the ATVANCE ACADEMY program played a significant role in helping him secure his current position.
“It equipped me with the necessary information and guidelines for my interview, as one of the modules taught me how to prepare and handle myself in an interview. My current position requires me to do presentations, research, write reports, take minutes and do site investigations.
The programme was helpful in equipping me with these skills as I am now able to demonstrate and use them in the co-operative world,” says Ndivhuwo.
“I sometimes find myself in situations where I have to work in a team and also as an individual, but because the programme helped sharpen my interpersonal and communication skills, it is easy for me to adjust and shift in between key performance areas. The Atvance program had a positive impact in my pursuit for success.”
